 Já nas proximidades de Assu, avistamos o Pico do Cabugi. Câmara Cascudo afirmou em uma nota existente no livro que a montanha vista por Henry Koster era o vulcão extinto que hoje é um dos símbolos do RN. 

Already near Assu, we spot the Pico Cabugi. House Krab said in an existing note in the book that the mountain view by Henry Koster was the extinct volcano that is now one of the RN symbols.

 Em Assu, a igreja de São João Batista, já existente no século XVIII, formava um belo cenário, juntamente com os antigos casarões e prédios restaurados.

In Assu, the church of St. John the Baptist, existing in the eighteenth century, formed a beautiful setting, along with the old houses and restored buildings. De lá, seguimos pela BR 304 em direção a Mossoró.

 

Decidimos visitar Tibau ainda naquele fim de tarde, afinal, o crepúsculo nos presentearia com belas imagens. Na divisa do RN com o Ceará, encerramos simbolicamente a viagem do projeto K200!

 We decided to visit Tibau later that evening, after all, the twilight would present us with beautiful images. In RN border with Ceará, symbolically ended the journey of K200 design!

Naquela noite ainda visitamos a artesã "Mazé", que gentilmente conversou conosco e demonstrou o processo de fabricação das famosas garrafinhas de areias coloridas!!!

That evening also visited the artisan "Mazé", who kindly talked to us and showed the process of manufacturing the famous bottles of colored sand !!!

Para concluir a agenda do dia, ainda fomos recebidos em Mossoró pelo historiador e cordelista Antônio Francisco. Em sua casa, Antônio mostrou um pouco de sua produção intelectual. As paredes da casa recheadas de fotos e sua rede, dentro de um quartinho com livros por toda parte, são um verdadeiro "cantinho da cultura"!!

To complete the agenda of the day, we were still received in Mossoro by historian and cordelista Antonio Francisco. In his house, Antonio showed some of his intellectual production. The walls of the house filled with photos and your network within a small room with books everywhere, are a true "culture corner" !!
