 O SERTÃO DO RN (I)

Nos dias 07 e 08 de setembro de 2016, partimos para a última fase prática do Projeto K200 no estado do Rio Grande do Norte. 

Henry Koster considerou que entrou no sertão à partir do vale do rio Ceará Mirim, e nós seguimos aproximadamente a mesma rota ao sair de Natal, atravessar a região de ceará Mirim e cruzar o RN em direção ao vale do Assu. de lá, seguimos para Mossoró e finalizamos a etapa à beira do mar em Tibau.

As diversas paisagens e aspectos humanos encontrados foram subsídios valiosos para o livro e o documentário que estão em fase de conclusão. Em breve, todo o conteúdo fotográfico do projeto, as comparações entre o RN descrito por Koster e a atualidade, as perspectivas para o futuro ... tudo estará disponível para que possamos conhecer melhor o nosso passado histórico e valorizar a cultura nordestina!!!

In the 07 and September 8, 2016, we left for the last practical phase of the K200 Project in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.

Henry Koster considered that entered the hinterland from the Valley of Ceará Mirim river, and we roughly follow the same route to get out of Natal, through the region of Ceará Mirim and cross the RN into the valley of Assu. from there, we went to Mossoro and completed the stage by the sea in Tibau.


The diverse landscapes and human aspects have been found valuable information for the book and the documentary that are nearing completion. Soon, all the photographic content of the project, the comparisons between the RN described by Koster and the present, the prospects for the future ... it will be available for us to know our past history and value the northeastern culture !!!

 

Iniciamos nossa aventura com uma visita à enigmática "Pedra da Mina", no município de Poço Branco, por causa do relato de Koster sobre os grandes rochedos existentes no leito do rio Ceará Mirim. Atualmente o nível da água da barragem de Poço Branco está baixo, mas a região apresenta uma beleza singular e que confirma as características descritas no livro.

We started our adventure with a visit to the enigmatic "Mina stone", in the Poço Branco municipality because of Koster's account of the existing large rocks in the bed of the river Ceará Mirim. Currently the Poço Branco dam water level is low, but the region has a unique beauty and confirming the characteristics described in the book.

Fomos recebidos por Davi Pinheiro, representante da Cooperativa de Pescadores de Poço Branco/RN e Gaspar Bandeira, representante do blog "A língua Poço Branco", que falaram sobre as lendas existentes em torno da Pedra da Mina, a origem da cidade e outros aspectos da atualidade local.

We were greeted by David Pinheiro, representing the Cooperative Poço Branco Fishermen/ RN and Gaspar Bandeira, representing "A língua Poço Branco"blog, which talked about the existing legends around the Mina Stone, the origin of the city and other aspects the site today.

Em seguida, seguimos pela BR 406 sempre atentos às comparações. Diferentes formas de captação da energia dos ventos, a vegetação, a bandeira do Brasil. Um Brasil de contrastes naquele 07 de setembro, dia em que se comemora a independência nacional!!!
